OSSC Cancelled April 27 Combined Recruitment Exam: New Date Announced, Check Details Below

OSSC today May 5, 2025 canceled the examination for the Combined Recruitment of various posts, which included a physical measurement and a physical efficiency test 2024 conducted on April 27, 2025.

Due to inconsistencies in the question paper, the OSSC canceled the Combined Recruitment exam and set a new date. The Commission has announced that the OSSC Combined Recruitment exam will now take place on July 6.

"Remedial measures to be adopted for the same," the OSSC stated in a notification, "following up on the Commission's Notice No. 2186/OSSC dated 27.04.2025, feedback and suggestions have been received from a large number of candidates regarding the examination for the post of Combined Recruitment Examination of Different Posts having Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test, 2024 held on dated 27.04.2025."

"The Commission has decided to cancel the examination to be conducted on April 27, 2025, after taking into account all of the ideas and understanding that any solution must fall within the parameters of the "Combined Recruitment Examination of Different Posts having Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test, Rules, 2022." Fresh examination will be conducted on 06.07.2025,” it added.

In addition to expressing regret once more for the trouble the error caused the applicants, the Commission wished all candidates luck on the revision of the exam date to July 6. Additionally, candidates are encouraged to stay updated on the situation by regularly visiting the Commission's website, www.ossc.gov.in.

The Main Written Exam for the Physical Education Teacher position, which was posted under Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teachers-2024, was likewise rescheduled by the OSSC. The Physical Education Teacher Main Written Examination shall be conducted on May 23 instead of May 22, it announced.

According to some applicants who took the Main Written Exam for the positions of Traffic Sub Inspector and Excise Sub Inspector, the exam papers included questions from the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam.

The OSSC Chairman quickly acknowledged the mistake and expressed regret. "The Commission is aware that several of the syllabus's questions were not asked. The Commission is dedicated to taking steps to fix it and admits and regrets the error. By May 4th, examinees are urged to provide recommendations," he stated.
