KCET Counselling 2025 Latest Updates: KEA Releases Option Entry Link & Schedule for Round 1

The results of the May 4, 2025, NEET exam were made public on June 14, 2025, and they serve as the foundation for admission to the Karnataka MBBS program in 2025. The KEA oversees centralized counselling for government, private, and non-resident Indian (NRI) MBBS/BDS seats. Candidates had to meet the state domicile and NEET qualifying conditions, which might be demonstrated by language competence, family educational records, or Karnataka residency.

KCET 2025 Counselling Procedure

The process to get admission through KCET 2025 counselling is:

Step 1: Applicants must register and have their documents verified.

Step 2: Following registration and verification, the candidate needs to lock their selections and fill out the institutes and courses they want to enroll in. Once the choices are locked, they cannot be changed.

Step 3: Based on the candidate's merit and desired seats, the KCET 2025 simulated seat allocation outcome will be revealed. By logging in with their CET number, candidates can modify their selections and view the progress of their allocation. Two rounds of allocation, a second extended round, and a special round will all be carried out by the authorities.

Step 4: Before the deadline for KCET document verification in 2025, candidates must report to the colleges to which they have been assigned for admission.
