KCET 2025 Counselling Begins: Option Entry Link and Full Schedule Revealed

The results of the NEET, which was held on May 4, 2025, were announced on June 14, 2025, and qualify the basis for Karnataka MBBS admissions for the year 2025. For government, private, and non-resident Indian (NRI) MBBS/BDS seats, centralised counselling is managed by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Candidates had to fulfill the requirements for state domicile and NEET qualifying, which can be proven by Karnataka residency, family educational records, or language proficiency.

KCET 2025 Counselling Procedure

The process to get admission through KCET 2025 counselling is:

Step 1: Candidates will have to verify their documents and register themselves.

Step 2: After verification and registration, the candidate must fill up their desired institutes and courses and lock their choices. No change can be made after the choices are locked.

Step 3: The mock seat allotment result of KCET 2025 will be announced based on the candidate's merit and preferred seats. Candidates can change their choices and check the allotment status by logging in using their CET number. The authorities will conduct two rounds of allotment, along with a second extended round and a special round.

Step 4: Candidates must report to their allotted colleges for admission before the last date for KCET document verification 2025.
