According to the law faculty of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), two BA LLB (honours) students have received pre-placement offers from well-known Indian law firms, Trilegal and Luthra & Luthra Law Offices India, with sums totaling Rs 16.5 LPA and Rs 9 lakh annually.
An offer of admission to the esteemed University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom for their Master of Law (LLM) program has been extended to another JMI Law BA LLB (honours) student. These accomplished students have received praise from the JMI law faculty.
Mazhar Asif, the university's vice-chancellor, and Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi, the registrar, has been credited with these accomplishments. He praised the vice-chancellor "for taking keen interest in speeding up the placement initiatives and creating various job avenues for the passing out students," said Ghulam Yazdani, dean of JMI law faculty.
Yazdani and other faculty members wished the students luck and complimented them on their outstanding achievements. "These important milestones by the Law faculty testify to the academic excellence and high caliber of education and training provided at JMI," said Jamia Millia Islamia, expressing pleasure in these students.
Jamia Millia Islamia will conduct BA LLB (honours) admissions through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam for the year 2025-26, as announced in its university prospectus. The university offers 120 seats for the programme.
