JEE Advanced 2025 will be conducted on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The exam will be held for two papers, paper 1 and paper 2. While paper 1 will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, paper 2 will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Applicants must arrive at the examination center well in advance.
The JEE Advanced 2025 exam center will stay open starting at 7 a.m. This year's JEE Advanced is being held by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). Today, May 17, PwD candidates or candidates with less than 40% disability who struggle with writing will have the opportunity to select a scribe.
In addition to a valid original photo and identity card, candidates need to bring a printout of their downloaded JEE Advanced 2025 admit card to the exam center. An Aadhaar card, a driver's license, a voter ID, a passport, a PAN card, a notarized document with a photo, or an ID from a school, college, or other institution can all be considered legitimate photo identification cards. JEE Advanced 2025 Dress Code
It is recommended that candidates avoid wearing taweez or charms. Additionally, metal-containing accessories including rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, necklaces, chains, pendants, badges, brooches, and clothing with large buttons should be avoided by JEE Advanced candidates. Additionally, it is recommended that they wear sandals and chappals, or other open footwear.
Appearing for both papers is compulsory. Each question paper will consist of three separate sections: physics, chemistry and mathematics. The question papers will consist of questions designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates. Negative marks may be awarded for incorrect answers for some of the questions.
