IIMC 2025 counseling process for MA and five PG diploma programs will begin today, May 28, 2025, and students with valid CUET PG 2025 scores can register for online counseling on the official website, iimc.admissions.nic.in, by June 8.
A new PG diploma program in corporate communication and brand management at IIMC Dhenkanal is open to applicants with CUET-PG 2025 scores in economics and business, according to an official IIMC announcement. Candidates with CUET PG scores in mass communication and media, however, are eligible to apply for admission to PG diploma programs in English and Hindi journalism, advertising and public relations, and radio and television journalism. The counseling registration fee is Rs 1,000 for candidates in other categories and Rs 1,500 for those in the general category.
Admission to courses other than journalism and mass communication is also open, according to Rakesh Goswami, who oversees IIMC admissions. Additionally, he states: "In addition to candidates with a CUET PG score in mass communication and journalism, candidates with a CUET PG score in data science, artificial intelligence, cyber security, etc. (MTQP 04), computer science and information technology (SCQP 09), and applied arts (HUQP 03) are also eligible to apply for the new program called MA in new media communications."
IIMC E-Counselling Process: Step-by-Step
Candidate must follow below steps for E-counselling for IIMC:
Step 1: Go to iimc.admissions.nic.in, the official IIMC counseling website.
Step 2: Sign up to get e-counselling.
Step 3: Provide personal, contact, and CUET-PG qualifying information on the counseling application form.
Step 4: Pay the fees of the counseling:
- ₹1500 for General category
- ₹1000 for Reserved category
Step 5: Select which IIMC Regional Centers and courses you would like to take.
Step 6: Evaluate and secure your choices.
Step 7: Wait for seat allocation. After it is issued, download the Provisional Seat Allotment Letter.
Step 8: Submit the following:
- If you are accepting the assigned seat, select Freeze.
- To be eligible for an upgrade in the upcoming rounds, select Float.
Step 9: Upload the necessary files, such as the category certificate, scorecard, CUET-PG admit card, and proof of age.
Step 10: Pay the ₹20,000 seat acceptance fee.
Note: Admission will be canceled if payment is not received.
