The CSIR UGC NET 2025 June session exam date has been changed by NTA. The CSIR NET revised exam date has been published by the authorities via a press release on nta.ac.in. The most recent information indicates that the CSIR NTA NET June session exam would take place on July 28, 2025, on a single day. Following comments from students who asked for a change in the CSIR NET exam date for 2025 due to a conflict with the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024, this decision was made.
"NTA has received several complaints from candidates stating that the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 exam and the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024 Examination are scheduled for the same date or dates, i.e., July 26 and 27, 2025. For the benefit of applicants, the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 exam will henceforth be administered on July 28, 2025, in a single day for all five topics. This is the official notification.
Hence, the authorities will conduct the CSIR NET 2025 June session exam for Mathematical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Science, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences and Physical Science on July 28, 2025.
CSIR UGC NET 2025: Subjects Covered
The subjects covered under the CSIR UGC NET 2025 include:
- Life Sciences
- Physical Sciences
- Chemical Sciences
- Mathematical Sciences
- Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
Each paper will have multiple-choice questions in three sections (A, B, and C). The exam will still last 180 minutes in total. Marks will be given to candidates according to how well they perform on one paper per subject. The syllabus and paper format have not changed.
According to NTA, eight to ten days prior to the exam date, the CSIR UGC NET 2025 exam city intimation slip will be made available. Therefore, around the third week of July 2025, students will be receiving the exam city notification slip for the CSIR NET June 2025 exam.
