OJEE Application Form Last Date Extended!

The OJEE 2024 Application Form has been made available by the OJEEB on January 25, 2024. Eligible candidates, who fulfill the OJEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria, can submit their applications on the official website at ojee.nic.in. The deadline for submitting the application form was March 15, 2024 earlier and has now been extended till 22nd March 2024 with late fees. The OJEE 2024 examination date has been announced, and is to be held from 6th to 10th May 2024. This entrance test is held by the organizing organization in order to grant admission to qualified applicants for the state-level B.PharmMBA, M.Plan, M.PharmMCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, International MBA, and lateral B.Pharm/B.Tech, MCA programs. Online testing is used to administer the exam. Admission is granted once a year after this entrance exam.

Key Highlights of OJEE Application Form 2024

1. Candidates can apply for OJEE - 2024 only “Online”.
 
2. Information Brochure can be downloaded from the website - www.ojee.nic.in or www.odishajee.com
 
3.Online submission of Application Form may be made by accessing OJEE 2024 website.
 
4. Instructions for Online submission of Application Form are available in Information Brochure and on the website www.ojee.nic.in / www.odishajee.com.
 
5. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as given in the Information Brochure available on the website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall summarily be disqualified.
 
6. Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence.
  • Printouts of the computer generated Confirmation Page of the Application Form.
  • Proof of fee payment.
7. The fee can be remitted through either of the following ways:
  • By Debit Card / credit card (VISA / MASTER / Maestro cards/internet banking).
                                                          OR
  • Remittance through e-Challan by deposit in OJEE Bank Account with State Bank of India ( State Bank Collect)
8. The candidates should provide all the authentic details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, Registration Number shall be generated.
 
9. Candidate has to fill the particulars online and also upload his/her photograph, Full Signature and left thumb impression. Due to the above, the provision of sending hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page to the JEE office is not necessary. Therefore the candidates are advised not to send a hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page to the OJEE office.
 
10. However, the candidates are advised to retain hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page along with proof of money transfer for future reference or correspondence, if any.
 
11. Applicant must quote the ten digit registration number/ Application number generated after submission of all his/her required personal data as a reference in all his/her future correspondence with OJEE.
 
12. Application must be completed in all respect. Incomplete / unsuccessful submission of application will lead to outright rejection. Completed application means: Registration, uploading images and pay the fee.
 
13. Options such as Category, Choice of place of examination centre and Reservation & Sub- reservation type once given by the applicant in the application form cannot be changed afterwards under any circumstances.
 
14. Applicant should give options only with respect to category S(state), ZZ(outside state of Odisha), NRI( non resident indian) and Reservation(SC,ST), sub-reservation type (PC or PwD/GC/WO/ES/TFW) that he/she can substantiate with documentary evidences during document verification / counselling. There is no provision of up loading any proof of these categories during online submission.

The next stage in the procedure is to upload your photo, your signature, and a thumb imprint that complies with the requirements.

  • Candidates must note that the photograpgh should not include any kind of goggles or caps. Photograpgh must be clear and not in a polaroid format at all.
  • The signature must only be done with a black or blue ballpoint pen only

4. Pay Application Fee

  • You must pay the appropriate application fee for your form type in order to finish the application procedure.
  • The application cost for the MBA and PGAT, MBA and LE-MCA, and MBA and MCA programmes is ₹1500.
  • For each course, applicants must submit a ₹1000 application fee, with an additional fee of INR 500 for each added course.

5. Confirmation

Can I fill the OJEE Application Form first and pay the Fees later?
Yes, candidates do not have to fill the application form and fees in go. However, it should be noted that the OJEE Application fee must be paid within 5 days of filling the application form. An application form without payment is considred incomplete and will be rejected.

One chance is given to change information on the OJEE application form 2024. Candidates must watch for the application form correction window to open after submitting the form. This feature may be used to amend or correct any form if it contains errors.

Last year, the form correcting service was initially made accessible. As a result, all fields outside the kind of application form and personal information might be changed by candidates and the application window for OJEE 2024 Exam will open from 23rd - 25th March 2024.

  • Claim for admission will be rejected if the candidate cannot submit the original certificates, mark sheets, other necessary documents at the time of document verification or if one has filled the form wrongly.
  • Admission may be cancelled at any time, if certificates/ mark sheets/ other documents are found to be forged or manipulated. A candidate will not be considered for admission if he/she fails to substantiate the claim with respect to reservation, category, nativity, date of
  • birth, qualification etc.
  • Facility of submission of application form, payment of fee and printing of the Computer Generated Confirmation Page will be ceased at 05.00 PM on the last day of online- application form fill-up. Hence, candidates are required to complete the process within the prescribed duration.

What is the Special OJEE Exam?
Special OJEE Exam, also known as the second OJEE Exam is usally conducted after the OJEE Exam result is announced. Special OJEE is conducted for those students who were not able to appear for the OJEE Exam 2024 - Phase 1. Only those students who did not appear for JEE Main or OJEE Exam 2024 can apply for the Special OJEE Exam. No candidate outside of Orrisa is eligible to apply for this.

How to Apply for Special OJEE Exam?

The process to apply for OJEE and Special OJEE remains the same throughout and there is no change in the process. The step-by-step procedure has been explained below for students' reference:

Is the application form for OJEE and Special OJEE same?
No, the application form for OJEE and special OJEE is different. The application form for Special OJEE will be out after the results for OJEE Exam have been declared. Moreover, the Special OJEE is conducted for only specific purpose, which is to fill the vacant seats in management, engineering, and pharmacy courses.

  • The special OJEE Exam will be conducted as a computer based online test
  • Special OJEE 2024 will be conducted for specific courses including B.Tech, Le-Tech (Diploma), Le-Tech (B.Sc), MBA, MCA, and M.Pharma courses under OJEE
  • Three new courses - M.Arch, M.Plan, and M.Tech have also been added for the special OJEE Exam
  • Candidates not belonging to Odhisa will not be eligible to appear for the exam
  • Candidates who have secured a rank or have appeared for JEE Main or OJEE Exam cannot appear for the Special OJEE 2024 Exam
  • Special OJEE or second OJEE will be conducted for admissions to first-year courses in all private and government colleges against the vacant seats in OJEE 2024
  • Candidates must reach the Exam Center an hour before the exam and must not carry any kind of gadgets, books, or study material
  • The test paper will have MCQ questions. Four marks will be given for each right answer and one mark is deducted for every wrong answer
