About the Job
Key Responsibilities:1. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including vendor management, inventory control, and ensuring efficient and organized workflows.
2. Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency — with customer satisfaction the primary goal — by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
3. Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods.
4. Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
5. In charge of incident management and reporting as per warehouse policy.
6. Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
7. Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
8. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
9. Ensure SHE guidelines and ensure the safety audits are followed at the warehouse regularly.
10. Keep in touch with the local ambulance & fire department and manage local human safety kits and PPEs to ensure safe working at the warehouse.
