About the Job
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT administrator (hardware) to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. This role is critical in supporting our fast-paced IT environment and enabling seamless day-to-day operations.Key responsibilities:
1. Install, configure, and maintain hardware components (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, etc.) in a high-demand IT environment
2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime
3. Assist in hardware upgrades, replacements, and system builds with a focus on scalability and compatibility
4. Manage asset inventory, conduct regular audits, and track hardware lifecycle management
5. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware procurement, repairs, and warranty claims with a tech-savvy approach
6. Provide prompt end-user support for hardware-related queries and incidents, often remotely
7. Set up and maintain conference room AV equipment, video conferencing systems, and ensure reliable network connectivity
8. Maintain detailed documentation for hardware configurations, maintenance logs, and incident reports using ITSM tools
9. Support basic network and server tasks as required, working closely with network and system teams
10. Participate in continuous learning to keep up with evolving IT infrastructure technologies
