About the Job
Key responsibilities:1. Provide the highest and most efficient level of hospitality service.
2. Coordinate baking schedules to produce breads, cakes, pastries, pies, cookies, and other goods
3. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
4. Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and the food preparation checklist.
5. Slices, grind and cooks edibles using a full range of cooking methods.
6. Wash and peel fresh fruits, vegetables, and be able to weigh, measure, and mix ingredients in correct proportions.
7. Check supplies and prep lists and ensure all items are prepped in a timely fashion.
8. Always keep the work area in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the Employer.
9. Coordinate and participate with other sections on requirements, cleanliness, waste, and cost control.
10. Mix, prepare, and bake bread and pastries.
11. Mix and shape dough for fresh bagels, muffins, rolls, and croissants.
