About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Liaison with bank branches and regional offices to drive the payments, ensuring timely and successful execution of student loan payments.
2. Manage and grow relationships with bank loan centers and branches.
3. Act as the primary point of contact for banking relationships, navigating through layers of bank hierarchy at branches.
4. Optimize completion rates and identify process enhancement opportunities to meet target volumes.
5. Collaborate closely within Flywire’s Global Payments Team to suggest improvements in overall flow of payments.
6. Observe patterns and trends in processes, gather feedback, and provide critical support to improve efficiency and ensure timely and accurate resolution of issues.
7. Identify any process gaps and potential risks and report the same internally.
8. Partner and collaborate effectively with the rest of the team at operations and other teams.
9. Contribute and participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at improving operational processes.
10. Provide critical support as needed to handle escalations
11. Prepare, maintain, and present accurate reports on payment status, trends, and key metrics.
