About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:A. Reservations & lead management:
1. Attend and respond to incoming calls, WhatsApp messages, and booking inquiries
2. Maintain a lead tracker (Excel/Google Sheets), including:
• Guest name
• Contact details
• Source (Instagram, Airbnb, reference, etc.)
• Dates requested
• Quoted price
• Status (New/Follow-up/Confirmed/Lost)
• Do regular follow-ups with warm leads
• Update booking status daily
• Coordinate with you before confirming any booking
B. Bookkeeping & expense tracking:
1. Maintain daily expense records, including:
• Staff payments
• Utilities
• Maintenance
• Groceries & supplies
• Marketing spends
2. Create and update:
• Daily Expense Sheet
• Monthly Expense Summary
• Income vs Expense Sheet
• Collect bills/invoices and ensure they are properly logged
• Share weekly financial summaries with you
(No CA-level work required – basic accounting discipline only)
C. Inventory & purchase records:
1. Maintain inventory sheets for:
• Kitchen supplies
• Toiletries
• Cleaning materials
• Linen & consumables
2. Track:
• Opening stock
• Daily usage
• New purchases
• Closing stock
• Flag low stock in advance and assist in purchase planning
• Maintain vendor details and purchase dates
D. Site inspections & reporting:
1. Conduct routine property checks:
• Cleanliness
• Room readiness
• Pool area & common spaces
2. Assist during:
• Pre-check-in inspections
• Post-checkout inspections
3. Report:
• Damage
• Maintenance issues
• Staff-related concerns
• Take photos/videos when required and share reports.
