About the role:
As the student placement officer at South Extension II, New Delhi, you will play a key role in building and strengthening corporate partnerships with agencies and brands. This role focuses on driving student placements, enhancing employability, and nurturing long-term employer relationships. You will work closely with students, employers, and internal teams to create impactful career opportunities and expand IIDE’s corporate network across industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate business development: Cultivate and manage corporate partnerships to achieve defined outreach and placement targets. Expand recruitment opportunities by onboarding leading agencies and brands across India and global markets.
2. Stakeholder engagement & partner acquisition: Engage with HR professionals, senior executives, and business leaders across industries, including digital advertising agencies and brands. Build and maintain a strong professional network to support recruitment and placement initiatives.
3. Relationship building, student, and employer engagement: Maintain strong employer relationships to understand hiring requirements and promote student talent. Collaborate with industry professionals to organise job fairs, networking events, workshops, and masterclasses.
4. Job placement, student interaction, & career mentorship: Engage with students to understand career goals and provide guidance on career mapping. Support students with job placements, resume building, interview preparation, and application processes. Advise students on job and internship opportunities, interview techniques, and hiring trends.
5. Database management & reporting: Maintain accurate databases of employer contacts, job opportunities, and student profiles. Track placements and generate insights to evaluate and improve placement effectiveness.
6. Additional duties: Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by management, aligned with the scope of the role.
