About the role:
As the placement coordinator at South Extension II, New Delhi, you will be responsible for coordinating placement activities and strengthening relationships with corporate partners. This role focuses on aligning student talent with industry requirements, supporting placement processes, and enhancing overall employability outcomes. You will work closely with students, recruiters, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of training and placement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate outreach & employer coordination: Build and maintain relationships with agencies and brands to support internship and placement opportunities. Assist in onboarding new corporate partners to expand recruitment avenues.
2. Stakeholder engagement & relationship management: Coordinate with HR teams, recruiters, and business leaders to understand hiring needs. Maintain regular communication with employers to ensure effective placement execution.
3. Student engagement & career support: Interact with students to understand career goals and guide them through placement processes. Support students with resume building, interview preparation, and application coordination.
4. Placement operations & coordination: Coordinate interviews, assessments, job fairs, networking events, and campus hiring activities. Map student profiles to relevant job and internship opportunities.
5. Database management & reporting: Maintain updated records of employer contacts, job openings, and student profiles. Track placement data and prepare reports to evaluate placement outcomes.
6. Additional duties: Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by management, aligned with the scope of the role.
