About the Job
We're seeking a dynamic and organized Operations & Logistics Coordinator to join our vibrant music school in Bangalore. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment and enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.Our music school operates across two connected spaces, creating a unique and intimate learning environment for students and visiting musicians. We need someone who can be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring our students and artists have everything they need to create amazing music.
Key Responsibilities
Facility & Studio Management
Set up and prepare classrooms, rehearsal spaces, and recording studios for daily sessions
Organize and coordinate jam sessions and group rehearsals
Maintain studio equipment and ensure all spaces are clean, organized, and presentation-ready
Implement and follow systematic processes for facility maintenance and organization
Equipment & Inventory Management
Handle incoming and outgoing musical equipment and instruments
Coordinate with instrument vendors, music stores, and suppliers
Manage procurement of studio supplies, groceries, and general facility needs
Track inventory and maintain organized storage systems
Utilize Excel for inventory management and operational tracking
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
Build and maintain relationships with musical instrument dealers and salespeople
Coordinate deliveries and pickups with local and online vendors (Amazon, music stores, etc.)
Negotiate and manage vendor schedules and service requirements
Guest & Client Services
Welcome and escort musicians, students, and guests to appropriate spaces
Provide refreshments and hospitality to visitors
Set up meeting rooms for professional gatherings and discussions
Ensure a positive experience for everyone who enters our facility
Logistics Support
Coordinate transportation of equipment when needed (driving ability is a plus but not mandatory)
Manage scheduling of facility use and room bookings
Support special events, performances, and studio sessions
