About the Internship
We are looking for Tamil annotators to support a language data project. The role involves listening to Tamil audio clips, validating existing written transcriptions, and adding appropriate tags as per project guidelines. This role is ideal for candidates with strong Tamil language comprehension, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure high-quality linguistic accuracy.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Listen to Tamil audio clips and validate the accuracy of the provided transcriptions.
2. Ensure correctness in grammar, punctuation, and contextual meaning.
3. Add relevant tags as per defined tagging guidelines.
4. Maintain 98%+ quality standards across validated files.
5. Review work thoroughly before submission.
6. Complete assigned tasks within defined timelines.
7. Flag unclear audio, transcription mismatches, or technical issues to the project coordinator.
8. Maintain strict confidentiality of all project data and recordings.
