About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Conduct private, group & ensemble lessons: Lead structured music sessions across formats- one-on-one, small group, and ensemble- tailored to student levels and program requirements.
2. Maintain student records & track progress: Document attendance, lesson coverage, skill growth, performance readiness, and related data using internal systems.
3. Design and deliver curriculum: Develop curriculum components including lesson plans, activities, teaching content, music selections, practice routines, and sheet music.
4. Plan and execute events, recordings, & activities: Contribute to the ideation, scheduling, rehearsal planning, and execution of events such as recitals, recordings, showcases, and student gatherings.
5. Manage session infrastructure: Take charge of class readiness, including space setup, equipment availability, instrument tuning, audio gear checks, and cleanup.
6. Ensure teaching quality & standards: Maintain high delivery standards through clear communication, pacing, feedback, and structured lesson flow.
7. Create content for social platforms: Document student moments, create teaching reels, and take charge of showcasing classroom, event highlights, and other musical ideas online.
8. Engage with parents: Convey student learning updates, milestones, and event details with clarity and professionalism during designated touchpoints.
9. Contribute to program development: Introduce creative ideas, fresh teaching methods, and original content that enhance programs like The Explorer, Young Musician, Band Camp, and others.
10. Uphold Trill Route’s teaching environment: Ensure studio hygiene, instrument safety, and session flow by managing physical space and maintaining an organized, welcoming classroom.
