About the Internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:- Analyzing design concepts and technical data related to gravity energy storage systems (GESS).
- Assisting the engineering team in demo plant development and testing.
- Creating and modifying 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, and Fusion 360.
- Designing mechanical subsystems and performing structural and stress analysis.
- Preparing manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Conducting mechanical performance and efficiency testing and analyzing system data.
- Supporting electro-mechanical simulations using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Maintaining design documentation, test logs, and version-controlled repositories.
- Assisting in drafting technical reports, research documentation, and scientific papers.
