About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. 3D modeling & design: Creating precise and detailed 3D models using Fusion 360 and other CAD software.
2. Parametric design: Developing modular designs using constraints and parameters.
3. Prototyping & simulation: Assisting in prototype development, assembly, debugging, and functional testing.
4. CAM & manufacturing: Converting designs into CNC toolpaths using Fusion 360's CAM capabilities.
5. Procurement support: Identifying, sourcing, and coordinating procurement of mechanical components and fabrication services.
6. Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, leveraging Fusion 360’s version control & collaborative tools.
7. Documentation: Preparing manufacturing drawings, material selection, and process documentation.
8. Problem-solving: Innovating and developing practical solutions for design challenges.
