About the Internship
The legal department at Zypp requires one law intern as per the criteria mentioned below for the responsibilities listed thereafter.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilites include:
1. Reading contracts, deeds, vendor agreements, technology agreement, staffing agreements, client agreement, on-going litigation case files, doing research and preparing case notes inclusive of preparing a list of dates, if any contract is expiring. [I know I am stating the obvious, but you know what they say … let the young lawyers/students know what is expected from them].
2. Taking procedural follow-ups from external counsel regarding pending cases on emails. Acknowledging the advancement of technology, these tasks can be handled via electronic devices so you don't have to hustle in the heat just complete the task while looking at our amazing office space.
3. Not just sitting in the office and having coffee (although, that is available free of cost), but sharing opinions and view on the ongoing agreement or during any negotiation with clients. These tasks can be handled by preparing an excel sheet (please don't hate us for that), we have a 'reduce paper use' policy as you should know our company's mission is zero-emission. Intern's day-to-day responsibilities.
5. Working hard but not late. We don’t ask our interns to stay late in the evening in the office, however there may be emergencies like our pizza's arriving late in case we stayed to discuss the next day's plan. Please don’t refer to our office as toxic if you are asked to assist in urgent drafting of NDA's or lease deeds or our vehicle's parking agreement or preparation, consequence whereof you end up staying late in the office. (This is a serious exceptional scenario which might occur).
7. Lastly, tolerating our team's sense of humour! We think we are witty and funny and if you don’t agree with us.. Well! We agree to disagree!!
