About the Internship
As a legal executive intern, you will be responsible for the end-to-end integrity of our client service agreements. Your role starts with rigorous corporate research to identify the correct legal entities and signing authorities, followed by the drafting, dispatch, and tracking of recruitment contracts.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Pre-contract corporate research: Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients (using LinkedIn, MCA/Company Registry, and official websites) to identify the correct legal name, registered office, and business structure before drafting any document.
2. Verification of signing authority: Identify and verify the 'Authorized Signatory' (Directors, HR Heads, or Authorized Officers) within the client organization to ensure the contract is legally binding and sent to the right decision-maker.
3. Contract administration: Draft and dispatch service agreements, including specific recruitment terms and service charge slabs as per the business deal.
4. Execution management: Follow up persistently with clients via email and phone to ensure contracts are reviewed, signed, and received back promptly.
5. Compliance audit: Ensure all returned contracts are correctly signed, stamped (where applicable), and that the person signing has the legal power to bind the company.
6. Database management: Maintain an updated 'Client Legal Repository' to track the status of all active and pending agreements.
