About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Conceptualization & Sketching: Researching men’s fashion trends and sketching original "Xordinary" jewelry concepts (rings, pendants, bracelets, etc.) that fit the brand’s aesthetic.
2. 3D CAD Modeling: Using software like Rhino, MatrixGold, or ZBrush to build high-precision 3D models from approved sketches.
3. Design for Manufacture (DfM): Adapting designs specifically for 925 Sterling Silver (casting) or Stainless Steel (CNC/Machining), ensuring appropriate wall thicknesses and structural integrity.
4. Technical Spec Sheets: Creating "Tech Packs" that include exact dimensions, weight estimates in grams, and detailed finish instructions (e.g., matte, hammered, or high polish).
5. 3D Rendering: Producing photorealistic digital renders and 360-degree animations for design reviews and early social media marketing.
6. File Preparation & Optimization: Exporting, "shelling," and repairing STL or 3DM files to ensure they are 100% error-free for 3D wax printing and factory production.
