About the Internship
At Nexten Brands, we invest and partner with manufacturer-led brands to unlock their full e-commerce potential. Our mission is to combine the strengths of manufacturing and our e-commerce capability to build successful, sustainable brands. We also work with brands as a growth accelerator on revenue sharing. We seek highly motivated and results-oriented investment analyst & new brand partnerships specialists to drive the identification and initial engagement of potential brands for both our investment and accelerator programs. This role is crucial to our growth strategy, requiring a dynamic individual who can identify high-potential manufacturer-led brands for investment opportunities as well as brands that are a strong fit for our e-commerce revenue-sharing accelerator. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for identifying promising brands through market research, a strong understanding of the e-commerce landscape, and the ability to articulate Nexten Brands' value proposition effectively to potential partners. We are looking for someone with excellent persuasive communication skills.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Lead generation & research:
1. Conduct in-depth market research to identify early-stage, manufacturer-led brands with strong investment potential.
2. Identify brands that align with the criteria for Nexten Brands' e-commerce accelerator, focusing on their product market fit, manufacturing capabilities, and readiness to scale their e-commerce presence.
3. Utilize various tools and platforms, including industry databases, social media, market reports, and professional networks, to build a robust pipeline of potential leads for both business models.
4. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging brands, and competitive landscape within the e-commerce and manufacturing sectors.
B. Lead qualification & initial outreach:
1. Evaluate identified brands based on pre-defined criteria for both investment suitability (e.g., manufacturing strength, market traction, financial indicators) and accelerator fit (e.g. e-commerce maturity, scalability, revenue potential).
2. Initiate contact with qualified leads through personalized and compelling outreach strategies (email, LinkedIn, etc.).
3. Clearly communicate Nexten Brands' value proposition for both the investment and accelerator models, tailoring the message to the specific brand's needs and potential.
4. Conduct initial screening calls to further qualify leads and gather essential information.
C. Pipeline management & reporting:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead generation and outreach activities in the system.
2. Track and analyze key metrics related to lead volume, quality, conversion rates, and pipeline health for both investment and accelerator tracks.
3. Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and market insights to the management team.
D. Collaboration:
1. Work closely with the investment and accelerator teams to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies and qualification criteria.
2. Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted outreach campaigns and materials.
