The role offers an excellent opportunity to work in an NBFC environment, supporting accounting operations, loan portfolio accounting, financial reporting, audit processes, and regulatory compliance in line with guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
📌 Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Accounting & Financial Operations
* Maintain books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards
* Pass journal entries and ensure accurate postings
* Perform bank reconciliations & ledger scrutiny
* Assist in monthly & quarterly financial closing
* Track interest income, penalties & overdue accounts
* Support provisioning calculations
* Reconcile Loan Management System (LMS) data with accounting records
2️⃣ Regulatory & RBI Compliance
* Assist in preparation of RBI returns & regulatory filings
* Ensure adherence to NBFC prudential norms
* Maintain audit-ready documentation for statutory & internal reviews
3️⃣ Accounts Payable & Receivable
* Review & rationalize operating expenses
* Track receivables & monitor overdue accounts
* Maintain accurate debtor & creditor ledgers
4️⃣ Audit & Reporting Support
* Support internal, statutory & RBI audits
* Assist in preparation of financial statements & schedules
* Prepare MIS reports for management review
🎓 Eligibility
* BAF Freshers / CA Freshers
* Strong analytical & accounting fundamentals
* Proficiency in Excel & accounting systems preferred
* High attention to detail & compliance orientation
