About the Internship

As a field sales & project intelligence intern, you will primarily work on-ground to identify, track, and convert project opportunities for Tiles, Marble, and Mosaic categories. This role is heavily field-driven and involves visiting construction sites, meeting architects, builders, contractors, and dealers to gather project information and support the sales team in generating new business opportunities. You will gain practical exposure to B2B sales, project acquisition, relationship building, and the building materials industry.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Field project identification (primary responsibility):
1. Visit residential, commercial, hospitality, and luxury project sites to identify new opportunities.
2. Meet architects, builders, contractors, and project managers to collect project details.
3. Identify decision-makers influencing material selection.
4. Track project stage, estimated requirement, and potential order value.
5. Share daily/weekly field reports with the sales/projects team.

B. Sales support & lead generation:
1. Generate qualified leads for Tiles, Marble & Mosaic categories.
2. Coordinate meetings between architects/builders and NITCO sales managers.
3. Follow up on sample approvals and material discussions.
4. Support the team in tracking project conversion status.

C. Dealer & influencer engagement:
1. Visit dealers and retailers to understand ongoing project supplies.
2. Collect feedback on pricing, product demand, and competitor presence.
3. Build basic relationships with local influencers in the market.

D. Competitor & market intelligence (on-field):
1. Identify which brands are being specified or supplied in projects.
2. Track competitor pricing trends and product preferences.
3. Share real-time market insights from the field.

E. Reporting & coordination:
1. Maintain structured project data in Excel/Google Sheets.
2. Submit weekly pipeline updates and opportunity tracker.
3. Coordinate with Sales, Projects, and Marketing teams for follow-ups.
