About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Develop and test code in C++ and Python.
2. Implement algorithms for defect detection, surface analysis, and real-time monitoring using ML or similar libraries.
3. Assist in designing and deploying machine learning models for flaw detection and process optimization.
4. Interface hardware peripherals such as stepper drivers, temperature sensors, thermistors, limit switches, proximity sensors, cameras, and other modules with Raspberry Pi or microcontrollers.
5. Work with communication protocols like UART, I²C, SPI, and CAN for sensor and module integration.
6. Calibrate and control 3D printer components such as motors, heaters, fans, and end stops through embedded code.
7. Analyze system data to improve accuracy, stability, and performance of the printing process.
8. Document experimental results, algorithms, and hardware connections.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and hardware control modules into functional prototypes.
