About the Internship
The Darpn Fellowship is a 6-month to 1-year, full-time, paid fellowship designed for individuals passionate about bringing the science and practice of wellbeing and SEL to students and all key stakeholders in the government school system.As a Darpn Fellow, you will be among the frontrunners working within Delhi’s public education system, engaging directly with principals, teachers, counsellors, parents, and students.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Become part of a dynamic professional learning community exploring emerging trends in wellbeing and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL).
2. Develop a strong grounding in the science and practice of wellbeing in education.
3. Gain exposure to public education systems and whole-school transformation initiatives.
4. Develop a deep understanding of mental health, well-being, and SEL in the Indian education context.
5. Co-manage the project’s tech-enabled ERP system with the Project Lead.
6. Coordinate with schools and stakeholders for data collection, management, and reporting.
7. Support and co-facilitate capacity-building programs with students, teachers, and school counsellors.
8. Participate in organizational events and learning forums.
9. Create safe, inclusive, and reflective spaces for free and open expression on wellbeing with all school stakeholders.
10. Influence how schools conceptualize wellbeing as foundational to learning and support them in moving towards deeper, systemic integration of wellbeing practices.
