About the Internship
Foodwalas.com is a curated, invite-only marketplace for exceptional vegetarian and vegan food brands across India. We do not operate like open marketplaces. We carefully select brands, ensure quality, and build trust with consumers who value authenticity and premium regional food. Customer experience is at the heart of our mission. We are looking for a customer support executive intern who will act as the voice of Foodwalas for our customers. This role is not just about answering queries, it is about building confidence, resolving concerns gracefully, and ensuring every customer feels heard and valued. If you are patient, empathetic, composed under pressure, and diplomatic in communication, this role is for you.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Handle customer queries across WhatsApp, email, and phone with accuracy and empathy.
2. Resolve order-related concerns including delivery timelines, payments, and product information.
3. Coordinate with brand partners to manage complaints, replacements, and delayed shipments.
4. Track issues through structured follow-ups and ensure closure within defined timelines.
5. Listen actively to customer grievances and de-escalate tense situations with calm communication.
6. Convert dissatisfied customers into loyal advocates through effective problem resolution.
7. Document customer feedback and insights for internal quality audits.
8. Communicate the brand’s curated positioning and quality assurance processes clearly.
9. Build long-term relationships with repeat customers through consistent engagement.
10. Collaborate with brand onboarding and operations teams to address recurring issues.
11. Share actionable insights and recommend improvements in packaging, product listings, and dispatch workflows.
