About the Internship

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Market research & lead generation
1. Identify prospects: Use platforms like LinkedIn, Zoom Info, and industry directories to identify potential corporate clients (SMEs and Large Enterprises).
2. Database management: Maintain and update a clean CRM (customer relationship management) system with accurate contact details of HR Managers, Finance Heads, and CEOs.
3. Competitor analysis: Research the employee benefit packages or asset insurance offered by competitors to help the team find a "hook."

B. Outreach & business development
1. Cold outreach: Initiate first contact through professional emails and cold calling to fix appointments for senior sales managers.
2. Lead nurturing: Follow up with "warm" leads who have shown interest in previous webinars or corporate events.
3. Networking support: Assist in organizing or attending corporate networking events, seminars, or trade shows to represent the firm.

C. Sales support & documentation
1. Presentation design: Create tailored pitch decks and proposals (using PowerPoint/Canva) that highlight specific insurance products like Group Health, Director’s & Officer’s (D&O) liability, or Marine insurance.
2. Quote coordination: Work with the underwriting team to gather premium quotes and compare different policy terms for a client’s specific needs.
3. KYC management: Assist in collecting and verifying "Know Your Customer" documents required for corporate onboarding.

D. Client relationship management
1. Service support: Act as a bridge between the client and the claims team during the initial stages of a policy.
2. Renewal tracking: Monitor the expiry dates of existing corporate policies and assist in the renewal process.
