About the Internship
We need two creative, video-first interns who can hit the ground running and build UpMentorX's social media presence from the ground up. This is not a 'schedule posts' internship — you will be creating original content, shooting and editing Reels, designing carousels, and writing captions that actually get engagement. If you spend more time on Instagram than in lectures and you know what makes content go viral, this is for you.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Shoot, edit, and publish three Reels per week for Instagram and YouTube Shorts.
2. Create two carousel posts per week for Instagram and LinkedIn.
3. Write engaging captions with strong hooks to increase reach and engagement.
4. Post one daily story or interactive poll to drive profile activity.
5. Repurpose mentor success stories into short-form video testimonials.
6. Track weekly content performance and report insights on what works and what doesn’t.
7. Brainstorm, pitch, and execute new content ideas every week.
8. Use AI tools such as Canva, CapCut, ChatGPT, and Claude to accelerate content creation.
9. Produce content around career tips, hiring advice, mentee success stories, behind-the-scenes platform updates, industry-specific growth topics (tech, finance, marketing, HR), and motivational content for young professionals.
