About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Speaking to customers and understanding their requirement, arranging samples and getting approvals for processing orders, meeting customers if required for business development and taking feedback from customers to improve productivity. Preparing detailed PowerPoint presentations on the products that includes features, pricing and order qty along with timelines to deliver the products.
2. Talking to vendors regarding the customers requirements, requesting vendors for sample development, attending meetings with vendors to plan the production schedule and delivery timelines once the order is confirmed, visiting the vendors unit to monitor production and ensuring the quality and timelines are in place, developing good relations with vendors such as manufacturers, printers and packaging companies.
3. Coordinating internally within the companies with relevant teams like designer - to make sure the designs are as per clients direction and only once the designs are approved, the same can be sent to vendors for sample development and final production, talking to finance team to ensure payments have come in the companies bank account, following with customers for payments, generating Purchase orders to vendors, sales orders to clients, invoicing and taking internal approvals.
4. Creating Job sheets, proposals, making presentations and sending proficient emails to clients is an intergral part of the job role.
