About the Internship
We are hiring a Business Development (Sales) Intern for a fast-growing startup. This role is ideal for someone energetic, confident, and target-driven who is comfortable handling both field sales and on-call sales conversions. The intern will actively contribute to revenue generation by generating leads, pitching offerings, converting prospects, and building partnerships. This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role suited for someone who wants real-world sales exposure and hands-on startup experience.Key responsibilities include:
Conducting field visits to corporate offices, residential societies, and local businesses as required
Pitching products or services confidently and closing individual as well as bulk deals
Converting inbound leads through calls and follow-ups
Building partnerships with local communities, HR teams, and decision-makers
Maintaining a daily sales tracker and sharing updates on conversions, pipeline, and revenue
The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills in Hindi/Marathi and English, be comfortable speaking to new people, and be willing to travel locally when required. A target-oriented mindset, resilience to rejection, and the ability to handle objections are essential. Prior experience in sales, telecalling, field marketing, or customer engagement will be an added advantage.
