About the Internship
As a business development intern at Flute Technologies, you will work directly with the founder to help grow the company by connecting with small and medium businesses across Mumbai that need websites, web apps, or mobile apps.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Lead research & prospect discovery: Identify and build lists of potential clients (SMBs, startups, local businesses) who could benefit from improving or building their digital presence.
2. Cold outreach & first conversations: Reach out to prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn to introduce Flute Technologies and start meaningful conversations about their tech needs.
3. Meeting & pipeline support: Qualify leads, schedule discovery calls for the founder, and maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and follow-ups.
4. Market & industry research: Research different business categories and industries to uncover new opportunities and understand common problems businesses face.
5. Sales material & proposal support: Assist in preparing outreach messages, basic pitch decks, and simple proposals for potential clients.
6. CRM & activity tracking: Maintain a structured lead tracker to monitor outreach, follow-ups, responses, and deal progress.
7. Join real client conversations: Sit in on discovery calls and sales meetings to learn how real B2B sales works, take notes, and help with post-call follow-ups.
8. Learn real-world B2B sales: Gain hands-on experience in cold calling, business communication, negotiation basics, and how service companies win clients.
