About the Internship
As a Business Development (Sales) Intern at Bloc, you will gain hands-on exposure to real-world sales in a fast-growing consumer hardware startup. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with inbound and outbound leads, understand customer requirements, and convert them into successful sales. You will work closely with the core sales team to drive revenue and expand Bloc’s customer base.Key Responsibilities:
1. Call and engage with leads generated through marketing campaigns, inquiries, and outreach.
2. Understand customer needs, identify insect-related problems, and explain Bloc’s solutions clearly.
3. Convert qualified leads into sales through effective communication and follow-ups.
4. Maintain and update lead details, call outcomes, and conversion status in shared tracking sheets/CRM.
5. Build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing customers.
6. Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth closures and installations.
7. Track daily sales activity and share performance updates with the team.
This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys talking to people, persuading through logic, and closing deals.
