About the Internship
Support the business development team by researching target accounts, generating outbound leads, and setting up qualified meetings, while learning end-to-end B2B sales fundamentals.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Lead generation & research:
1. Research and identify target companies and decision-makers using LinkedIn, company websites, and sales tools.
2. Build and maintain a structured prospect database including HR, Talent, L&D, and Tech leaders.
3. Segment leads by industry, company size, and relevance to improve outreach effectiveness.
B. Outbound prospecting:
1. Execute cold outreach through email, LinkedIn, and calls using approved templates.
2. Personalize messaging based on prospect research and engagement signals.
3. Drive systematic follow-ups to increase response and conversion rates.
C. Meeting & opportunity support:
1. Qualify prospects based on role, business need, and interest level.
2. Schedule introductory or demo calls for senior BDRs and Account Executives.
3. Maintain accurate CRM records with detailed notes and status updates.
D. Reporting & coordination:
1. Track daily and weekly activities including calls, emails, responses, and meetings booked.
2. Prepare progress reports and share updates with the manager.
3. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support campaign execution.
E. Learning & skill development:
1. Learn B2B SaaS sales fundamentals and outbound prospecting best practices.
2. Develop understanding of the company’s product, ideal customer profile, and value proposition.
3. Participate in sales enablement sessions and feedback reviews to continuously improve performance.
