About the Internship
We are looking for a brand management & partnerships intern who will help us identify, onboard, and nurture high-potential food brands across India. This role is not just about vendor acquisition; it is about building long-term brand relationships aligned with Foodwalas’ curated positioning. If you enjoy business conversations, storytelling, relationship-building, and understanding brands deeply, this role is for you.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Brand outreach & relationship building:
1. Identify high-quality regional food brands aligned with Foodwalas’ philosophy
2. Initiate outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone, and field visits (if city-based)
3. Conduct introductory discussions and explain the Foodwalas value proposition
4. Build long-term brand relationships
B. Brand evaluation & fit assessment:
1. Evaluate product quality, packaging, shelf life, and brand story
2. Understand brand legacy, strengths, and growth aspirations
3. Recommend brands for onboarding based on curation standards
C. Partnership development:
1. Coordinate onboarding process with internal team
2. Help brands understand the online selling ecosystem
3. Build structured communication and follow-up systems
4. Ensure exclusivity discussions (where applicable)
D. Brand storytelling support:
1. Collect brand history, origin story, and production practices
2. Assist in creating brand narratives for listing pages
3. Coordinate for product photos, descriptions, and positioning
E. Market intelligence:
1. Research city-wise food clusters (e.g., Indore snacks, Nasik specialities, etc.)
2. Track emerging premium/regional food brands
3. Suggest category expansion opportunities
