About the Internship
The 'Assistant Project Management Intern' will play a key support role in the VennTax operations team during tax season. This position focuses on administrative and project coordination tasks that ensure an efficient, organized workflow throughout the client lifecycle - from intake to completion. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Support project managers in coordinating client intake, ensuring all necessary documentation is received, properly categorized, and recorded in VennTax systems.
2. Assist with client completion workflows, tracking progress through review, approval, and delivery stages.
3. Prepare and manage client invoices.
4. Maintain organized databases to support visibility across the team.
5. Help monitor project timelines and task assignments to keep production schedules on track.
6. Communicate status updates and flag potential issues to project managers to ensure efficient resolution.
7. Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency during peak tax season.
