About the Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:A. Data Understanding & Preparation
1. Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing datasets
2. Perform basic data analysis and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
3. Prepare datasets for model training and evaluation
B. Model Development Support
1. Support the development of machine learning models under guidance
2. Implement basic algorithms (regression, classification, clustering)
3. Tune model parameters and improve performance
C. AI/ML Tools & Frameworks
1. Work with Python-based ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn)
2. Assist with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch – optional)
3. Use Jupyter notebooks for experimentation
D. Model Evaluation & Validation
1. Evaluate model performance using standard metrics
2. Compare models and document results
3. Identify overfitting/underfitting issues
E. Applied AI Use Cases
1. Support real-world use cases such as prediction, recommendation, NLP, or automation
2. Assist in building prototypes or proofs-of-concept (POCs)
F. Experimentation & Learning
1. Run experiments and document findings
2. Research AI/ML techniques and summarize learnings
3. Stay updated on emerging AI/ML trends
G. Collaboration & Communication
1. Work with engineers, analysts, or product teams
2. Participate in discussions and reviews
3. Communicate progress and challenges clearly
H. Documentation & Reporting (Lightweight)
1. Document model approach, assumptions, and results
2. Prepare simple reports or presentations for stakeholders
I. Ethics & Best Practices
1. Follow responsible AI practices
2. Ensure data privacy and ethical usage awareness
