The Saurashtra University is a public university situated in the Rajkot district of Gujrat state. 9 districts come under the jurisdiction of the University. The Saurashtra University library was established in the year 1967.

2) Computer Center-

 

The Computer Center at the Saurashtra University was sanctioned by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in the year 1988.

The purpose of the Computer Center is to provide a central computing facility for the development and growth of academics and research activities.

There are other essential functions of the Computer Center that are executed as per the guidelines of UGC. The functions involve Training for students and staff, Computerization of University activities, consultancy work, Assistance in research work and providing Campus Network and Internet services.

 

3) Hostel Facilities-

 

Saurashtra University hostel has 144 rooms which include of one seated, two seated and three seated rooms.

There are various facilities available at the hostel like Internet access, Indoor games hall, T.V room, Playground, Mess, Entertainment room.

1) Sports Facilities-

 

The Saurashtra University lays particular emphasis on personality development of the students by engaging them in the sports activities and promoting the fitness awareness.

The University has collaborated with the state and national bodies to match up with the common interests and concerns related to sports.

The university has sports facilities like Football, Hockey, Basketball, Tennis, Archery, Rifle Shooting, Wrestling, Swimming, Cricket, Judo and much more.

 

2) Research-

 

There are various experiment facilities available to the researchers and scholars at the University campus.

The researches are done in the field of Humanity, Technology, Social Studies, Science, Computer, Literature, Indian Culture and Law.

Faculty: My classes here in the department were regular and they teach us practically.
College: My course was a regular course at this university. The University takes students on the result of the 12th board and they have minimum percentage criteria.

Faculty: They are good and always best in education.
College: My course was regular and therefore I have given the university entrance examination for taking admission here and the classes are regular here and from 2011 to 2014 I have studied here although my experience was good still I faced some issues.
