Pondicherry University Admissions:

 

The admissions to the Pondicherry Postgraduate courses and Doctoral courses is made through an entrance examination conducted by the Pondicherry.

 

The steps of the Pondicherry University Admissions is given below:

 

1) Fill the application form at the online website of the Pondicherry University.

2) The applicant can pay the application fee either through online mode or offline mode.

3) Submit the application form before the last date.

4) Download the application form for the future reference.

 

Pondicherry University Campus Life:

 

There are various facilities available for the students at the campus. Some of them are-

 

1) Auditorium-

 

To facilitate the events like seminars, workshops, placement programs, meetings and cultural events, the Pondicherry University have air-conditioned, well furnished and modern systems equipped two big auditoriums, conference halls and seminar halls.

 

2) Canteens-

 

The campus has three canteens, coffee bars and Ponlait bunks that offer delicious cuisines, Fresh Breweries to the students. They take a special care of the hygiene of food served.

 

3) Gymnasiums-

 

Pondicherry University stays special emphasis on the health of the students. There are many outdoor and indoor game facilities available to the students. There is also 16 station multi-gymnasium available at the campus.

 

4) Hostel Facilities-

 

There are 17 hostels available for the students out of which 11 are for boys, and 5 are for girls, and the one hostel left for the international students. The chief warden heads the hostels and helped by the hostel staffs. Adequate security provisions are made for the students in the hostel.

 

5) Library-

 

A library is available at the campus for the students to avail the benefits of books, Journals, Catalogues available at the library. There is also an e-library where the students can find the e-books, e-databases, e-journals and e-theses.

Many big companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IDBI, ICICI, Accenture, Kotak, Zinc, Reliance, L&T Infotech, Honeywell, HSBC, Standard Charted and much more visit the Pondicherry University campus and hire students at excellent packages.

Faculty: In the weekends we have classes and they cover the syllabus.
College: I am working right now that is why I have joined the correspondence course and I have got the books from the University and also there were weekend classes.
Exam: I have given the graduation result.

Correspondence course

Faculty: Mostly I have studied on my own in the 1st semester but also attended some lectures.
College: I am doing my degree in the finance and the degree was of distance education and I am in the 2nd semester right now and I went to there center for the formalities of the admission and to take books and pay the fees.
