Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU Kakinada) is a public University in the district of East Godavari of Andhra Pradesh state. The institution was established in the year 1946 and at that time it was known by the name 'The College of Engineering, Vizagpatnam'. Earlier, the institute was affiliated to the Andhra University, but in the year 2003, it has become an autonomous university.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Admissions:

 

Some minimum criteria need to be fulfilled in the process of JNTU Kakinada Admissions. The criteria are-

 

1) The candidate must pass the 10+2 exam with the Mathematics and Physics as the major subjects.

2) The candidate should pass the 10+2 exam with the minimum of 50% marks.

 

If the candidate fulfils the minimum criteria for eligibility, then the final selection is made on the basis of marks scored in the AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test).

 

AP EAMCET-

Boys hostel can accommodate around 400 boys, and the girl's hostel can accommodate around 300 girls.
