Central University of Gujarat Admission 2024
The Central University of Gujarat Admission is done online and based on qualifying scores of entrance exams. The university exempts UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE/ teacher fellowship holders from taking CUET. However, it's mandatory to appear for CUET-UG and CUET-PG for successful admission to CUG in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate courses.
Candidates who wish to pursue higher education at the Central University of Gujarat can explore more than 60 courses for CUG admission 2024.
Central University of Gujarat Admission: How to apply?
For CUG admissions 2024, candidates must register for CUET on cuet.samarth.ac.in. After scoring qualifying marks in CUET, candidates need to fill out the application on the Central University of Gujarat's official website.
We have mentioned the steps to fill out the application form for CUG Admission 2024:
- Visit CUET's official website @cuet.samarth.ac.in
- Complete a detailed form with course preferences, personal, educational, and qualification information, along with a scanned photo and signature.
- Select the exam center for online examination.
- Pay the application fee of INR 800 (Undergraduate & Postgraduate) or INR 1000 (Research Program) online via net banking/ UPI/ debit-credit card. Reduced fees apply for SC/ST applicants (INR 350 and INR 450) and are waived for PWD.
- Once registered, you'll receive a confirmation SMS.
Once CUET releases the merit list, qualified candidates must fill out the admission form on the CUG admission portal. The selected candidates will be called for counseling. The university publishes the final list of selected students after counseling. Selected applicants will have to undergo document verification for admission 2024.

Central University of Gujarat Scholarships
CUG offers scholarships to research scholars and ST students. We have mentioned the details below:
CUG provides the Non-NET fellowships to M.Phil/Ph.D. students, following UGC guidelines.
- The fellowship duration is 18 months for M.Phil and 4 years for Ph.D. students.
- Students receive INR 5000 monthly with a Science contingency of INR 10000 per annum and INR 8000 per annum for Humanities/Social Science.
Scheduled Tribe students at CUG are eligible for post-metric scholarships.
