Brainware University Details

Brainware University commenced its establishment in the academic year of 2016. The university is situated in Kolkata, West Bengal. The university has been recognized by the University of Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The programs offered by the university have been recognized and approved by UGC and AICTE respectively.

It is a University offering specialized programs in Engineering, Biotechnology & Biosciences, Management & Commerce, Law, Pharmacy & Allied Health Sciences, Computational & Applied Sciences, Communication, Multimedia & Media Science, English as well as Diploma courses in an array of subjects. Overview of Brainware University

The campus of the university is spread across 9 acres of land at Kazipara Barasat. The nearest bus stop to the university is Chaapadali. The university is well known for being one of the leading University Grants Commission (UGC) approved private universities in West Bengal which has also been formed by a Gazette Notification of the Government of West Bengal State under the act of The West Bengal Act XXXI of 2015. The university offers more than 50 programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level. These programs are primarily offered in the field of Engineering, Biotechnology and Biosciences, Management and Commerce, Law, Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences, Computational and Applied Sciences, Communication, Multimedia and Media Science, English, and Diploma programs.

The university also offers various facilities to its students. Hostel facilities are provided to students hailing from out of the city. There are more than 180 faculty members who have achieved expertise in their respective fields.

  • Admission to MCA is done based on candidates' performance in WBJEE (JECA).
