Established in 2002 and granted university status in 2009, Baddi University of Emerging Sciences and Technologies (BUEST), sometimes known as Baddi University, was founded. The institute, which is spread out over 40 acres of picturesque slopes in the midst of Shivalik Hills at Baddi in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh has developed an amazing academic structure with project-based learning and great placements. It is recognised by the UGC and approved by the AICTE.  The classrooms are well designed and laboratories have state-of-the- art equipment.
