Auro University Details

Established in the year 2011, Auro University is a private university in Surat, Gujarat. The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC). In the 2017 Indian Hospitality Award Ceremony at HITEX, it was awarded as the Best University in Hospitality Management by EPICURUS. The Auro University consists of a total of seven schools, named School of Business, School of Hospitality Management, School of Information Technology (IT), School of Law, School of Journalism & Mass Communication, School of Design, School of Liberal Arts & Human Sciences and School of Sciences. Additionally, it has two centres: the AURO Fine Arts Center and the AURO Language Learning Resource Center. In terms of faculty, they have over 75 faculty and instructional staff working on a permanent basis.

 

The University has tie-ups and associations with some organizations, institutes, and universities. These collaborations include San Diego State University, University of Northampton, International Management Institute Switzerland, etc. It has a distinctive multi-dimensional teaching methodology that integrates lectures, discussions, business simulations, case studies, role playing, teamwork, and field trips. Through AURO VCare and AURO Unplugged, it also provides the students with counselling and emotional support. Apart from the regular day-to-day classes, the university engages students in several clubs, including Art & Design, Dance, Digital Builders, Dramatics, Foodie Club, Music, Photography, and more. Additionally, it has an Integral Health and Wellness Center with programmes on food and nutrition, healing, body awareness, physical education, and mental and emotional health.

AURO University Surat Admissions

AURO University follows different approach for admission to different courses. Some of the courses are merit-based. Others require an entrance test, written test, or interview depending upon the course requirements. BCom aspirants must take up UGAT entrance test. MBA aspirants must take up entrance exams like MAT, XAT, GMAT, CAT, CMAT, UGAT. For admission into PG Diploma, BA LLB, LLM, students must take up CLAT and LSAT India entrance exams. AURO University accepts applications via both online as well as offline mode.
