APG Shimla University Courses

There are various programs that the university offers. APG Shimla University Courses primarily include programs offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. These programs are offered under several specializations thus providing students with a pool of options to choose from. Candidates seeking admission to any of the programs must ensure that they stand eligible for admission to their desired programs. The eligibility criteria have been defined by the university on its official website. Students must visit the official website to check the eligibility criteria for different programs and apply accordingly.

The university offers B. Tech, B. Arch, B. Com (Hons.), BCA, B. Sc, B. Design, BHM, BBA, and BAJMC programs at the undergraduate level, and MCA, M. Tech, MHM, MAJMC, MBA, and LLM programs the postgraduate level. The university also offers programs at the doctorate level. The basic minimum educational qualification required for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs is given below:

  • Candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate programs must have passed senior secondary school in the relevant field from a recognized board.
  • For admission to the postgraduate programs, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.

APG Shimla University Admission

Candidates seeking admission to the programs offered by APG Shimla University must register themselves by visiting the official website of the university. APG Shimla University Admission 2020 procedure is conducted through both online and offline modes. Candidates can choose either of the two based on their convenience. Below mentioned are the steps they must follow in order to register online:

  • Visit the official website of APG Shimla University i.e. agu.edu.in.
  • Navigate to and click on ‘Apply for 2020 Admissions' link available on the webpage.
  • Enter your personal details such as your name, phone number, email id, and the other details.
  • Once the registration form is filled, candidates will receive a verification link on their registered email id and phone number.
  • Candidates must click on the link sent to them which will, in turn, open the window to fill the application form.
  • Fill the application form with correct details and upload all the required documents such as scanned copy of marksheets, passport sized photographs, and signature.
  • Submit the duly filled application form and process the payment of INR 2100 as application fee.

Offline Application Procedure

Candidates seeking admission through offline mode of application must visit the official website of the university. It will redirect them to the ‘Admission' page. Students can download Application Form 2020 from the link given there.

Fill the downloaded application form using a blue or black inked ball pen. Do not forget to attach the scanned documents while filling the application form. Process the payment of INR 1000 as application fee in the form of Demand Draft. The demand draft must be drawn in favor of AP Goyal Shimla University.

Note* Candidates are advised to keep a copy of their duly filled application form and the receipt of the payment of application fee for future reference.

APG Shimla University Selection Procedure

  • The selection procedure is basically carried out depending on candidates' performance. Candidates seeking admission are shortlisted based in their performance in the past academics or qualifying entrance examinations conducted at the national or state level.
  • There are some courses admission to which is done based on candidates' performance in the entrance examinations conducted at the national level. candidates seeking admission would be required to register on the respective exam's official website.

  • Candidates seeking admission to the other programs namely BCA, B. Sc, BBA, B. Design, LLM, M. Sc, and MCA will be shortlisted based on their marks in the past qualifying examinations.

Note* Candidates seeking admission to Ph. D. and MBA programs must also appear and qualify personal interview round conducted by the university.
