WBJEE was conducted on May 17, 2016 in pen and paper mode (offline mode) across all cities in West Bengal. About 1.3 lac candidates showed up in WBJEE 2016 for admission to Government and private colleges in West Bengal. Generally, the test takers found the exam of moderate difficulty level.
This article concentrates on WBJEE examination, difficulty level, sectional difficulty level, number of safe endeavors and WBJEE Cutoff. This year, WBJEE will be held by WBJEEB (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board) on April 23 for admission to undergrad programs in engineering, architecture and pharmacy in West Bengal. An aggregate of 36,000 seats will be accessible in 104 taking an interest schools of WBJEE 2017.
The test was held in 2 sessions, each of 2 hours, with a 30 minutes break between the 2 sessions. The break-up of questions was as underneath:

WBJEE Section-wise Analysis
The difficulty level of WBJEE question paper was diverse for each subject. While Mathematics was generally simple, Physics and Chemistry had a blend of direct and difficult questions. A few questions in all areas had tough choices, making it difficult for the candidates to think of one right answer.

Physics
The area was a blended pack of easy and tough questions. The Physics paper involved points like Laws of Motions, Hydrostatics, Hydrodynamics, Atom and Nuclei, Dual Nature of Matter, Heat and Thermodynamics, Rotational Motion, Kinematics, Semiconductors, Alternations Current, Optics, Electrostatics, Electromagnetic Induction, Magnetism, Current Electricity, and so forth. By and large, the difficulty level of Physics segment was direct to high. An attempt of 25 or more questions with about over 80% precision was viewed as great.
Chemistry
This area involved questions of mole concept, equilibrium, thermodynamics, viable science, s-block components, d-block components, transition components, atomic structure, chemical holding, hydrocarbons, aldehydes and ketones, haloalkanes, liquor, amines, science in regular daily existence and so forth. The overall difficulty level of the Chemistry segment was direct to high, and it had a blend of medium difficult and easy questions. The students who attempted 25 or more questions with over 80% precision was secured.
Mathematics
This segment involved every significant area of class XI and XII science. The area was moderately simple and had various simple questions than that of difficult questions. Generally, the difficulty level of the area was anything but difficult to direct. This segment included conic segments, straight line, 3-D, fundamental analytics, differential condition, separation, use of subordinates, change and blends, insights, likelihood, connection and capacities, quadratic conditions, imbalances, region under bend, number-crunching and geometric movements complex numbers, frameworks, determinants, triangles, breaking points and subsidiaries. A significant number of the inquiries could be illuminated by 'click on the correct response'. An attempt of 50 or more questions with about over 80% accuracy was viewed as great.
