SRM University's Sonepat campus in Haryana administers the SRMHCAT, or SRM University Delhi-NCR Sonepat Haryana Common Aptitude Test, for admission to engineering, management, law, and commerce courses at the UG and PG levels. Previously, the SRM University, Sonepat held separate entrance exams for Engineering, Law, and Commerce & Management, but for SRM Haryana admissions this year, there will be a single Common Admission Test (CAT).
Haryana Domicile candidates receive 25% of the seats in each programme based on their performance in the SRMHCAT. To be eligible for the Haryana Domicile scholarship at this university, Haryana Domiciles must take the SRMHCAT. SRMHCAT Exam Eligibility Criteria
Check eligibility criteria for SRMHCAT is mentioned for each course below:
SRMHCAT Eligibility for Integrated MBA and BA LLB, BCom LLB and BBA LLB
- Candidates who have passed or are about to pass the Class 12 examination are eligible to apply.
- They must have obtained at least a 50% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
SRMHCAT Eligibility for B. Com
- Candidates who have passed or are taking the Class 12 exams
- They must have a cumulative score of 50% in Accountancy, Math, Economics, and Business Studies.
SRMHCAT Eligibility for B. Tech
- Candidates who have passed or are awaiting the results of their Class 12 examination are eligible.
- They must have received at least a 50% aggregate score in all subjects.
SRMHCAT Eligibility for LLB, MA in English, and MBA
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a UGC-accredited university.
- They must have received at least 50% of the total marks.
SRMHCAT Eligibility for M. Tech
- Candidates for Mechanical specialisation must have a bachelor degree (BE/BTech) in Mechanical/Production/Automobile/Industrial & Aeronautics with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Specialization in Computer Science:
- Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree (BE/BTech) in Computer Science/Information & Technology/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics and Instrumentation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
SRMHCAT Selection Process
The SRMHCAT is divided into three stages: application, written test, and results. Check out the following steps for SRMHCAT admission:
STEP 1: Complete the SRMHCAT 2022 application form.
The SRMHCAT 2022 application forms are available both online and offline. Candidates who wish to apply for any of the courses available through SRMHCAT admission must pay the application fee. You can apply by copying and pasting the following link: https://admissions.srmuniversity.ac.in/srmhcat-2022
STEP 2: Download the SRMHCAT 2022 admit card
From the scheduled date, the SRMHCAT 2022 admit card will be available for download on the official website of SRM University, Sonipat.
STEP 3: Take the SRMHCAT 2022 exam.
The SRMHCAT 2022 exam will be administered in phases and separately for each course. Every course paper will include 100 multiple-choice questions from relevant subjects.
STEP 4: SRMHCAT 2022 Scores
The SRMHCAT 2022 results will be announced three days (tentatively) after the exam, and candidates will be given scorecards. The outcome is available on the official website.
