The selection procedure for SBI PO 2019 is as follows:

  • The selection of the candidates would be done on the basis of the Online exam (Preliminary and Mains) and GD followed by an interview.
  • Aspirants who would clear the preliminary exam would appear for the Mains exam. Those who qualify Mains would be called for Group Discussion and Interview.
  • Allotment of different candidates would be done on the basis of the top ranking candidates on the merit list.

The mark wise breakup is as follows:

  • Preliminary- 100 marks
  • Main Exam- 200 marks
  • Group Discussion and Interview- 50 marks

Things to be kept in mind while appearing for SBI PO:

Biometric Verification:

To maintain error-free and secure selection criteria the bank may digitally record the thumb impression of the candidates. This step is performed to check the authenticity of the candidate. If the candidate fails in the biometric test, then his/ her application will be rejected. Hence, candidates are advised to avoid the use of ink, mehendi, chemical etc. and their hands.

Attempts:

The number of attempts is fixed for SBI Po. The candidate can appear for the Preliminary round for numerous times but appearing for Main Examination will be counted as an attempt.
